Dr Abhishek Hazra works as an Assistant Professor at the National Institute of Technology Agartala. Prior to that he served as an assistant professor at Dept. of CSE, IIIT Sri City, Chitoor. He was a Research Fellow at the Communications and Networks Lab, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, NUS Singapore. He has joined PhD from IIT(ISM) Dhanbad, India and University in Tartu, Estonia. He completed his master's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from NIT Manipur, India, and his bachelor's degree from NIT Agartala, India.
He currently serves as an Editor for Physical Communications, Computer Communication, Sustainable Computing : Informatics and Systems, IEEE TNSE, IEEE TGCN and IEEE IoT. He has authored and co-authored various national and international journal and conference articles. His research area of interest is in the field of IoT, Fog/Edge Computing, 6G, Machine Learning, and Industry 4.0/5.0.
